He was quite a character. We was a rescue pup, had lived in a cage and didn’t know how to run jump or have fum. He didn’t much care for people for a long time, but I treated him special and made him my best bud. His last 6 years he really came out of his mood and loved life. The other poodle is not as bright, just lies around and goes outside a couple of times a day. Not really as good a company, though he likes to be around people.
We had a rescue greyhound who had lived in a crate for two years. When we adopted her, she didn’t know how to climb stairs or cross floors without sliding and panicking. It took us quite some time to calm her, but she grew into such a happy and affectionate girl.
