Yeah...the ‘weatherman’ called low 40’s, and was wrong again...as usual. Wouldn’t have mattered much as I have way too many plants to cover.

It's that time of year. It's one of the reasons I like growing plants in containers on our back deck. We have two umbrellas and the floor of the deck is eight feet off the ground, with the plants up on stands and railings. It gives us a little extra time.

At least we don't live in Alaska, where many vegetables have to be grown in greenhouses even during the summer, or shipped in at a dear price.
