Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the Word for the Day in a sentence.
The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day.

I remember when those first “advisors” were sent by JFK, my dad-who was still in the military then-commented that it would bite us in the ass soon enough-and now here we go again...

my grandfathers both died before i was born so i have no idea what i would have called them, but i think the word GRANDPAP or just plain PAP, as used by Pittsburgh dad to mean grandpa is hilarious and i love using it!
I just measured and my cabinets are 12” but the actual space for dishes is 11” - bottom cabinets are, of course, deeper so that is where my platters are stored
Wow - does anyone do what they are paid for anymore? I hired a group to do my lawn and was so disappointed in the work, as well as their scheduling I had to let them go. I hate to admit the illegals do better work than Americans when it comes to yards around here!
well i guess i believe him that 12” are standard, but i know what left my house was deeper than this, and seems he should have realized it and at least said, hey, you guys will be losing a bit of space bc the standard cabinets are more shallow, but will more than make up for it with the additional cabinets you are putting in.

It sounds really nice - I’m sure you are looking forward to getting the kitchen back and all that mess gone! I get antzy when my house is a mess - I can’t concentrate well when things are so out of place
Same here! congrats to the grandparents in class but I’m fine being the grandmother of a doggie right now..... he is enough to deal with! lol
i have no heard anyone else referred to as PAP or any derivative thereof.
