Indeed, though the Bengals made some crucial mistakes in the second half to aid the effort, I thought the Bears played very well, did not get down when they lost the lead and hung in there against what I think is a very talented Cincy team. I liked what I saw.

I thought it was interesting with all of the safeties. Week One jitters everywhere? The 49ers/Packers game was one for the ages. That is sure shaping up to be one heck of a rivalry... (BTW, thanks, 49ers! heh)

I've heard people say that the lack of meaningful practices leads to it taking a few weeks for most team to get any rythm to their offense.
