So if he divorces the wife and marries the gf, all she’s gained is a husband with a history of cheating on the wife with the young-uns at the office.
Not exactly a secure position, especially if he smartens up and makes her sign a fairly restrictive prenup.

I don't know if her plan was to marry him. She may have been going for climbing the organizational ladder. She was dating yet another Google exec, when it was found out and he left for another company. She recently became a marketing manager for their newest, most high profile product, at age 26. Quite a resume stuffer. She probably wanted a top management position. Now, with her noteriety, I am not sure how marketable she will be in Silicon Valley.
