Actually, I think the mother had sent St. T away to stay with him after she realized St. T was out of control (St. T had been brought up by another woman, Daddy’s second wife or girlfriend, who actually appears to have liked Trayvon Martin but was never invited back into his life).
Obviously, Daddy wasn’t very concerned and also knew exactly what he was getting. Once he realized St. T was missing (the next day), he called the police first to find out if St. T had been arrested.
But hey, this is his 15 minutes.
