The bummer just loves sticking it to us. Defacing property is so in our face...between his finger salutes and his feet on our desk shows exactly how he feels about OUR country. Could it be an plainer?

I decided I would see if I could find more pictures of Obama with his feet on the Resolute Desk. Well I did find them. There are a number of photographs with him putting his feet up there. What I didn't expect to find were photos of other presidents doing pretty much the same thing. One thing I didn't see, was any other president put the bottom of his shoe on the desk.

The other presidents had their feet crossed on the desk LINK Bush LINK Ford or some such, but still the heels of their shoes could cause damage to the desk. Normal wear and tear is one thing. To put your feet on an object like this is unconscionable.

[ It appears Ford may not have been using the Resolute Desk, but the desks used by our presidents all have significant historical value. ]

Obama, Bush, and Ford can be seen putting their feet up on this desk (or another of historical value). I have yet to find one of Reagan doing it.

We all feel the same way but let’s get that message to the oaf in the White House. I don’t care if he doesn’t see it. Someone will see it and perhaps get the message that we don’t appreciate the president acting like a slob - even tho’ we know that’s exactly what he is. He’s not a normal person as normal people don’t behave that way. Who here didn’t hear as a child - GET YOUR FEET OFF THE FURNITURE!

I bet whatever photographer took that photo no longer will be welcome in the oval office.
