What I don't like about what Hank has done is that his Lone Wolf McQuaid act has put him and Gomey in grave danger. Nobody knows what they have been doing. If they get killed now they will be disappeared. Only Marie knows they have taken Walt into custody. If they disappear, nobody is going to believe her.
I think Jesse is going to save them though.

I just watched it again and it is unclear whether Gomie got shot or not. He is crouching and wincing next to Hank's truck, but then he steps out firing the shotgun again. So I don't know.
One important thing I did notice is that Gomie has Walt's car keys. He took them out of Walt's pockets right after the handcuffs went on. The camera zoomed in on them, so that is going to be an issue, because Hank's truck has the tires shot out.
