Representative Danny K. Davis (D-Ill.) and Bill Pascrell (D-N.J.) are sponsoring legislation which amends the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to include a 20 percent tax on handguns--"pistols [and] revolvers"--as well as a 50 percent tax on "shells and cartridges." The bill is H.R. 3018 and it is titled the "Gun Violence Prevention and Safe Communities Act of 2013."

How about a 500 percent tax on idiot politicians.
Kill the bill.
Charge these idiots with Treason. Convict them. Hang them.
I believe a tax targeted specifically at guns would be an “infringement”, and why it would be unconstitutional. But Maybe we should all buy yet ANOTHER gun before they do it, just to be safe... ;-)

We need a damned amendment to stop people from giving “Public Relations Friendly Titles” to legislation...
Sure, all the crooks stealing guns and selling them on the black market will pony up that tax.
They’d better start taxing tar & feathers!
and more ammo, if you can find it
Here we go again. Penalize with heavy taxes the law abiding citizen who actually purchases guns and ammunition. Contrast that with the criminal who steals guns and ammo and therefore pays no tax. Guess which one is responsible for the violence?
Best Idea Of The Day!
The public servants are violating our Second Amendment rights again.
How about a 500% tax on all campaign contributions? Electing lying politicians who want to take away our Constitutional rights is the biggest danger our nation faces.
Since we have no one in Washington, with the exception of three, this then amounts to taxation without representation.
I’ve a great idea. Let’s revolt against these knights appointed by King Barry. They may night be arrayed like lobsters of old, but they eat enough of them.
Keep your powder dry and don’t waste a musket ball.
Obammy will tax the church next
Here's Danny boy
Here's Billy"
That’s what rope is for
Use of a stolen weapon in the commission of a crime carries a 20 year mandatory sentence with no possibility of parole.
No way in hell the liberals will ever let it pass. Come to think of it, I'd pay a 20% tax on guns if it would pass!

Does anyone have any doubts that at least for a few years until the “people” begin again to forget the cost of Freedom that ALL efforts to kill the Constitution will come to a screeching halt because traitors and tyrants will finally get it. The founding fathers never supposed a cowardly person would have the privilege of basking in the protections of the Declaration of Independence and Constitution while attempting to destroy the freedom and liberty they provide, without paying the ultimate price for treason.
