Yeah, she's got quite an array of 'em. It looks like the photographers either airbrush them away, or she had them removed in some fashion -- they don't seem to be prominent in the later photos.
BTW, don't fret, I think freckles are kinda cute. :)
Mine are pale, minor and contained to a reasonable area, thank God.
