*tonight's show will be available at the "Info" link starting tomorrow.

The Big Broadcast is a Sunday night tradition for families throughout the WAMU listening area. Each week, Big Broadcast host Ed Walker offers listeners priceless recordings of popular radio programs from the '30s, '40s and '50s. Priceless, especially, for a man whose first sentence as a child was, 'Turn the radio on.'

Hi, Vision! Again, I haven’t done the synopsis list!
We got flooded today. We got over 6 inches. Wowzer!
What did you get a scooter for? Fun or serious transport? What kind is it?

6” of rain? Is that a record? Was anything damaged?
It's a 2010 kymco agility 125. Just for fun around the neighborhood. A slightly bigger engine which requires a motorcycle license.
Besides the flood everything else is good?

Hey, yes, all is well. I don’t know that it is a record. We sometimes get monsoony rains here (is that a word?) This was part of the low pressure system that was down in the lower southwestern Gulf this week that didn’t turn into a tropical storm. The rain moved through, and now the sun is out for sunset.
Cool! You got a scooter get-around! That’ll be fun. Just be careful of others, as you know.

Baby Snooks is bad. I do like the Lone Ranger for a regular weekly.

Gads! I got a call from a friend in one of our local TEA Parties and have been on the phone for the last forty minutes. I missed Baby Snooks so far.
