Why is FR repeatedly having this problem? Over & over....
Why cant it be solved once and for all?
Particularly when we’re being asked for 340k a year to keep it running!
Everything seems to running fine.
Im betting that the “problem” does not have its genesis on the Free Republic Server but rather somwehere between those servers and our computers.
Think N.S.A SNOOPING!!!
Shh! She can’t be bothered with such details! Just fix it, dammit! FIX IT! (Sheeesh, she must be a CSR’s worse nightmare.)

Egypt’s military leader has vowed the army will not stand by silently in the face of Muslim violence. Gen. Abdel-Fatah al-Sissi said that the Army has no intention of seizing power while calling on Islamists to join the political process. al-Sissi led the July 3 coup that ousted Pres Morsi. al-Sissi’s comments came during his first appearance since a deadly crackdown on two encampments of Morsi supporters. al-Sissi appeared at a gathering of top military commanders and police chiefs. More than ever, the Church needs men. Sadly, many Catholic men have believed the lie that being holy isnt manly, and that the faith is boring. They leave religion to women and children and simply tune out. But holiness is for men. There is nothing more difficult, rewarding, or manly than becoming a saint. The spiritual life is full of combat, struggle, hardship, and adventure. It requires blood, sweat, tears, perseverance, and courage. It isnt for the faint of heart. Catholic men are called to leave mediocrity behind and to strive for greatness. The Catholic Gentleman exists to inspire men...

From his first presidential campaign to the present, the president, his party and his administration have openly flouted existing laws, and it doesn’t seem there is any legal means of stopping him short of impeachment. As you may recall, the Democrats refused to fill vacant spots on the Federal Election Commission so that when the Obama campaign disabled the system to track contributions there was no way in 2008 to challenge and stop the practice and countless suspicious contributions, including many from overseas, found their way into his coffers. (SNIP) This was prelude to years of simply flouting federal laws...

I am using ie10, set on 20 articles, and this is what I get
In which portion of the illustration might one locate...the NSA?...
#1 - What problem are you talking about.
#2 - Have you noticed that the site is operated without commercial advertisements or support?
#3 - Why the hell are you complaining about something you use that doesn’t cost you a single red cent?
if Free Republic is running on dedicated servers that might be why the returns are so very.....Fast and Furious?
It thought it happened when FReeper’s used too many apostrophe’s.
So you complaining about a free service is not adolescent behavior?
.
.
- CLUE :
Several years ago FR had a Sidebar Poll asking who FReepers would pick as their candidate to become President.
Over 16% selected:
Hillary Rodham Clinton
Who do you think FR members are?
.
.
IDK...
Cannot read properly at all on my HTC radar smart phone too!
M’A’Y’B’E’...
Ask Al Gore
He invented all this
Complaining that a free service does not meet your needs is not a “legitimate question”. It is merely a temper tantrum. A legitimate question would be something on the order of “Is there anything that we Freepers can do to help you resolve these site issues? We love the work you do and are here for you when you need us.”
Is there anything that we Freepers can do to help you resolve these site issues? We love the work you do and are here for you when you need us.
AMEN!
it MAY just be that theres a lot of SNOOPING....goin on
OH! LOL! Thanks for the explanations. I was truly mystified at Former MSM Viewer’s rant.
I have run into that from time to time, but I’m just so happy for the web site, and the FACT THAT IT IS FREE TO ALL COMERS for it is administered as a SERVICE by Jim and John Robinson! THEY ARE VOLUNTEERS!! For that reason, I am willing to overlook minor glitches from time to time. They always work hard to overcome them in a timely manner.
Seems like it might be time to re-up a donation soon...
Do you really want to know, my FRiend? The hidden secret is on Line 2. Take a peek.
Less than $0.30 per person? Jim is doing a pretty good job.
