Here is a clip that is not too often seen. From a 16mm kinescope this is the complete "performance" with introduction by host Sam Riddle. Note the group is not performing live, but it's always great to hear this classic piece. Hollywood a Go Go was a one hour music program produced by the RKO General "flagship" station in Los Angeles, KHJ. {{ video 3:29 ]]

Simply one of the smoothest, coolest tunes ever made.

Check out the extended live version in Norway - it’s even better.

They just don’t make Go-Go dancers like they used to.

Used to play Green Onions in one of my old bands. My ears are still ringing.

There will never be a time when I hear that song and not NEED to dance to it. DFB, I used to be one those go-go dancers. It’s just one of those things you never get out of your system no matter how old you get!
Thanks for posting.

This may be hard to believe but when I was born in Bloomington,IN in 1965 my parents were going to school at IU. We lived in the same apartment building as the main guy in the band who was going to school there. I have vague memories of crawling underneath band equipment and pushing the pedal of the bass drum. Green Onions is ingrained in my head.
