Save money and the opression of left wing propaganda.... cancle cable or Dish TV....
That there will save you $ 100 a month.
Cancel your news print subscriptions... savings ? $ 20 - $ 30 a month.
Plan when going out to buy food or whatever.
Get all your things in one trip when going to the store or get together with someone and use one car or vehicle to go out shopping, pay bills or whatever needs that can be taken care of in one trip to save on fuel costs.
Modern cars can go a extra 1000 miles between oil changes so insted of every 3000 miles between oil changes you can get way with taking it to 4000 miles between oil changes.
If it's a older car and you don't care about it as much then a cheaper grade of oil can be used and a cheaper grade of gasoline can be used.
Cheap toilet paper can be bought at the dollar stores.
Buy a home water filter instead of buying a case of water.
You get the same benefits from filtering you home water as buying a case of spring water.
Keep your eyes on sales, discounts, half off sales or whatever.
If you are close enough to a store and healthy enough then walking to the store or using a bike can save on gasoline.
Eating out costs more than buying your food and cooking it at home, besides ? home cooking is more healthy and sanitary for you.... eat at home.
Get more use out of old cloths.
There is no sensible reason to change your set of cloths because it's out of style and for those who are worried about what impressions that they would make on other people, or what other people will think of their appearance.
If they are worried that they don't have the latest fashion and what other people might think ?
Then those people are shallow and not worthy of being your friend... stop trying to impress people with buying new cloths.
Wear shoes a little longer, or ware them until they are totally wore out.
Also there is no need to have 10 pairs of shoes.... you only need about 4 pairs of shoe.
One pair of shoes for dress, one pair for work, one pair for casual use and one pair for sports.

In a SHTF scenario you may not have home water. I prefer cases of bottled water.

Modern cars get more than 3000. It’s recommended for me to change my oil every 7500 miles. Because I don’t drive much, I change at 5000 (my cousin the car man thought this was wise).
My tips:
Have “at home clothes” and “going out clothes.” Get in the habit of changing as soon as you get home and before you leave. It keeps nicer clothes, especially work clothes, from oil spills, bleach spills, and anything else that comes with housework and cooking.
Watch the loss leaders and use your freezer to store meats and fish. Don’t be afraid to grind your own meat either. I can get pork shoulder for $1.29/lb a few times a year. I use ground pork from these hauls instead of beef in pasta sauce, tacos, etc.
Grow what you can. You’d be surprised what you can grow. I have four pots on the edge of my parking space and haven’t bought herbs outside of parsley all summer. Inside I have aloe, cilantro and will move a few cuttings from the rosemary, chives and thyme for the winter.
My outlay for the herbs was $24.00, however, I used them almost daily and have no waste unlike I do with the plastic containers at the store.
Speaking of the plastic containers of herbs, those freeze well too.
I’m pulling basil and chamomille this weekend so that I can add seeds for spinach for the fall.

If it's a older car and you don't care about it as much then a cheaper grade of oil can be used and a cheaper grade of gasoline can be used. Premium gasoline with a higher octane value is only useful in a high compression engine. If your car is typical it won't get anything useful out of premium no matter how old it is. On the other hand if your car has a high compression engine it needs premium even when old.
I did have one old car that needed mid-range in the summer because it started pinging when hot with regular.
