Buy a home water filter instead of buying a case of water. You get the same benefits from filtering you home water as buying a case of spring water.

In a SHTF scenario you may not have home water. I prefer cases of bottled water.

" In a SHTF scenario "

In a SHTF you won't have water at the stores either because of the fuel shortages and chaos.
If you have a home well system and a way to pump it manually then you will still have water.
Even a well can be pumped by a solar and battery system.
Trap rain water into a storage system would help also.
In a SHTF scenario there will be more problems other than getting water, fuel will be scarce, so will food, electricity.
It's better to get many storage containers to filter your own water at home and store it somewhere than buying spring water at the store.

Is there a “shelf life’ on bottled water?
