I ain’t leaving.
Period.
This leaving idea is part of human behavior - when one is in a terrible situation, one thinks another place has to be better, so the person leaves A and goes to B. In a regional emergency, that would be true but if the whole country is down, likely place B is no better than A and the person isn't familiar with B which puts them at a disadvantage when they get to B.
I have made my own country in which to live and it's my house and small back garden. I am the President for Life of my country and if half white Hussein brings this country down, I'll stay in my country until times get better. I am prepared to do that starting today if it was necessary.
I’m not leaving, either. I’ll be 65 this year and time marches on with no escape. Best to be at peace with my Lord and Savior and know that this vale of tears is for but a season.
Meanwhile, get in the best possible shape I can, keep the hardware cleaned & oiled, and pray that when my time comes I will be on my feet.
