Wow.. watched it all the way through (never watched Kitchen Nightmares because I thought is was yet another cooking show.. might download a few episodes now..)..

Wow. Just wow. I hadn’t seen the episode before. Amy is completely delusional and paranoid and the husband is not much better. They not only treat their staff like crap, they treat their customers that way too. In the opening scene where Samy throws those customers out for complaining that they’d been waiting over an hour for a pizza and then tries to make them pay for the food they didn’t even get? Unbelievable. And pocketing the server’s tips? If I tipped a server and found out that it went into the nasty owner’s pocket, I’d be very angry and certainly would never go back there again.

Ramsey can come off like a jerk sometimes but he knows his stuff, knows what good food is and more importantly how a restaurant should be run. He did compliment them on how clean the kitchen was and on the desserts but it’s obvious that the food isn’t all that good but Amy thinks she’s God’s gift to the culinary arts and can’t take any criticism what so ever, either honest criticism or imagined insults.

Amy – Get some help – you need it.
