As I understand it, the 25-54 demographic is red meat for advertisers.
CNN has the most annoyingly earnest anchors I’ve ever seen
Looks like Hannity is pulling a Leno -— soaring in the ratings just before getting axed...
LOLOLOL.
Piers Morgan is sick-ken-ning!
If Hannity is so hot why is Megyn taking his place. ... Otoh maybe she’s joining him Not as liberal as Colmes but can certainly play devils advocate well.
Hannity on top at 9pm? Must be a lot of bored people out there at that time.
Actually that speaks more about how the competition is pure crap.
They could team up Kelly & Hannity, but my bets are on Hannity taking over the 7 pm time slot from Shepherd Smith. Smith is a weak lead in to O’Reilly, he loses a quarter million viewers from Bret Bair. Hannity works long hours with both his TV and radio program, and a 7 pm slot would get him out of there 2 hours earlier, so there might be a personal issue for him. Also, his huge numbers suggest that he would hold onto Bair’s audience PLUS add his own viewers and bring O’Reilly and Kelly and even stronger lead in audience.
If that’s the thinking, and if it works, then Fox will not just dominate, it will subjugate.
Aren't the television shows taped a few hours in advance? I never got the impression that they were live...
Hannity is very good. He’s repetitive at times, but his memory is like a trap, and his ability with a group is truly professional.
Besides that, he is the remaining consistent conservative in the Fox line-up. He might not be perfect, but he is consistent. My vote would be for keeping him. Otherwise, it says that there’s a sinister back-channel going on at Fox.
FWIW, I just watched Sarah Palin on Fox about an hour ago and she was shockingly honest. Said Chris Christie isn’t a real conservative. Said that in terms of privacy that she’s on team Rand. She said Snowden shouldn’t be attacked since he was the one who revealed the NSA violation of the 4th amendment. Said death panels are reality and the naysayers are ignorant.
It was Sarah Palin unplugged. What a leader!
I currently do not watch FNC at night.
Too routine.
If Hannity goes earlier, and the shows get more interesting, I’ll watch.
Hannity I want. The other evening shows, I am not so enthused about.
Out of 330 million...not much.
I assumed they were live, but you could well be right. I just don’t know.
It might be a combination because my memory says I’ve seen them react to breaking news on a few occasions.
I think the total news audience even with the broadcast networks is something like 25 million a night.
Low info for real, isn’t it?
I wonder what the online audience is?
I don’t stay up late enough to watch the Fox prime time shows, but I get up early enough to watch them repeated in the early morning hours (Best time of the day).
I don’t know. Is it tracked?
We have enough socialist democratic frauds in this country already, the last thing we need is an imported British Twit trying to lecture us out his rear end about what is happening in this country. Losing to Ricky in the ratings should be the writing on the wall for this little limey.
Who the %$#@! is watching Rachel Maddow?? THAT is the scariest stat.
