Yes, I had read some stuff about cocoa too. There is some place where they use it with water to make a cocoa drink good for brain and all manner of other stuff that I can’t exactly remember.

I do drink hot chocolate in the winter time, and other stuff in the summer. Cocoa can not hold a candle to oxygen. My brain needs oxygen, and REM sleep in the deepest 4th stage and it doesn’t get it.

I haven't yet read about hot chocolate, but there is a FReeper who is a big proponent of CoQ10... Here's some info...
Having more energy in our Brain cells isn't a bad idea either. CoQ10 concentrates in the Cerebral Cortex of the Brain. This is the area where most learning occurs. More importantly, the Cerebral Cortex receives the nerve impulses for our sense of sound, smell, sight, and touch. The actions of movement including speech are processed in this area of the Brain. Critical to aging are the aspects of thought, reasoning, memory and the recall of memory are coordinated in the Frontal Lobe of the Cerebral Cortex. CoQ10 is extremely important for graceful aging, not only physically but mentally too.

The good stuff is pricey, however; I used to take it years ago for ringing in my ears, but at the time, I had several other health "issues" I was battling, and didn't see a strong enough difference to continue (because of the $$), but I'm going to try it again, as soon as possible. I DO take turmeric extract (with black pepper for absorption), and some days I feel more alert with just one helping. It, too, is costly, but I keep it on hand.
