Yep you could. Also a little later on You could choose a sheltered location, plant spinach, lettuce, carrots, onions, and garlic for a winter garden. Just cover it up with a row cover for the occasional frosts. Later double up the row cover and use straw if needed. You’ll be eating fresh stuff all winter, and around the first of March you’ll be eating carrots fully grown.
