If you want to eat shitty pizza come to the Ozarks!
On the other hand, I recently ate pizza at Grimaldi's in Las Vegas (Caesar's Forum). Excellent!
Oh, and the lady in the article who states,"Las Vegas doesn't have any good food..." is out to lunch. At Mickey D's. I ate at Craftsteak. El Diablos, and Pearl. All great places. Many of the best chefs in the world are in Vegas. The days of the 99 cent buffet are gone. Even Gordon Ramsay's restaurants are good-except for the shouting! LOL!

There's another great place for pizza in Vegas. At the Cosmopolitan on the second floor go down a long hall that has photos of famous Italian-Americans there is a NY-style pizza place at the end of the hall. Just a counter, a pizza oven, a pinball machine and a couple of tables. Excellent slices! Doesn't have a name - people called it No-Name Pizza.
I'm from Chicago area but I believe NYC-style pizza is the truest form of pizza. Chicago deep dish is good food but it is not true pizza. Globally, everything is compared to NYC pizza.
