I'm sure that's what the Shih Tzu in a purse was. ;)
Quite possibly. Service dogs don’t have to be large, or the center of attention. Sometimes they ride quietly in a pet carrier, without being noticed by most people. They allow their owners to go about their lives without the whole focus of their lives being about the dog, and educating the public. Sometimes disabled people just want to run errands, like anyone else, without having to explain themselves two or three times at every stop.
Well, a couple of years ago there was a Schnauzer who could detect cancer.
Could be. Not likely but could be.
They tend to use smaller dogs for that kind of duty.
About a year ago on a flight to Fairbanks I sat next to a gal with s Shih Tzu "service" dog. He wandered over to my lap a couple of times.
I can top that.
Just last night I saw a Chi in a “service animal” emblazoned backpack being hauled around on a Harley.
Where the guy found that teeny tiny spiked harness I’ll never know.
