While I was growing up, I lived in a ‘depressed’ neighborhood-where whites were the distinct minority.
Absolutely, no American can claim to know crime (especially, black on black crime) until/unless he has spent at least a couple years in a mixed community like that.
You would not believe what goes on in those places.
By the way, I have seen and known personally, black police officers, judges, attorneys as long as I can remember.
