yay Korean girls
Of course I am too old for these girls. I would like someone more my own age...

Working low-end retail will be an eye-opener, but being as how hes smart, honest, literate, and drug-free, he should move up quickly if he also works hard.I recommend that you don't let him discuss low-end retail with Darksheare... ;-)
But a job is a good thing!

NoCmpromiz, what is the difference between Canada Down Under and Upsidedown-Side Canada? It's sort of like making Pineapple Upside-Down Cake...
If, when following this recipe, you do not complete step 3 and stop after this part ("Bake 50 to 55 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean" -) you will not have Pineapple Upside-Down cake. You will have Pineapple Down Under cake...
Everything on the upside down side of the Earth is flipped. But it's OK, to them it's just normal. They see nothing wrong with it due to the gravity of the situation...
;-)
Wait a minute, I thought everybody in the Great White North loved hockey...

They all look like they come to work on skateboards! Good night and sweet dreams, y’all!

You are right now that I think about it
To: GeronL
"You are right now that I think about it" I suspect that many of our first interactive androids will have faces like those.
The uncanny valley is easier to cross if you have a taste for the exotic.

No, I am not interested in those kind of “interactive” robots... probably sell well in Japan though.

Not the nurse you had in mind?

He’s gotten rid of a lot more than Gus. You haven’t see any of season 5, have you?

Kiosk Bot
Future Robot's service robot FURO can perform a simple dance, looks sad when customers leave, and carries a touch screen that can function as a menu in restaurants.

If you think you are tweaking my imagination, it is obvious that you do not know where my imagination has been.

The Movie Reviews
"All Good Things"
With Ryan Gosling, Kirsten Dunst, Frank Langella, Lily Rabe, Philip Baker Hall, Michael Esper, Diane
Venora, Nick Offerman, Kristen Wiig, Stephen Kunken
2010, Rated R for drug use, language, violence, and sexuality, 120 minutes, Instant Play
The elder son, David Marks (Gosling), of a real-estate mogul (Langella) marries a middle class woman
(Dunst) against his father's wishes, and subsequently is passed over when it's time for Marks Senior to
hand over the reins of his shady business dealings, which he does to his younger son (Esper). David goes
on to make a total mess of his life. Based on a true story, the downward spiral never really harms David
because he's excellent at covering his tracks. This is a glimpse into the mind of a true sociopath. Gosling
was brilliant as usual.
★★★★
"The Host"
With Saoirse Ronan, Diane Kruger, William Hurt, Frances Fisher, Jake Abel, Max Irons, Boyd Holbrook,
Marcus Lyle Brown, Bokeem Woodbine, Chandler Canterbury, Scott Lawrence, David House, Phil Austin
2013, Rated PG-13 for sexuality and violence, 126 minutes
Earth is invaded by an alien race that implant themselves into the brains of the highest life form. One young
woman (Ronan) tries to kill herself when she is cornered, but she survives the attempt and becomes a living
host to Wanderer. She struggles with Wanderer, but they reluctantly join forces and try to make peace
between the humans and the alien invaders. Great story, and well worth the watching.

RETAIL?!
*HIDES BEHIND SOMETHING HEAVY*
My experiences working retail run thus:
Toys r us
Dick’s clothing and sporting goods
Radio shack
I had one boss in that whole mess that gave a darn about us, and corporate sent him to another site and gave us “Bob Undersinger”.
Don’t laugh, that really was his name.
And he was a petty little troll!
Much like the bosses at toys r us.
Aaaaaand the boss at radio shack that would snake your entire commission!
And blame us for his screwups.
It was as if in manager school they cloned one manager, gene spliced the toad, and then unleashed this freak horror on the world en masse!

“LOL Darks. There arent any interesting hockey games!”
Yes there are, distracting women types at the rinkside and the gladiatorial battles below while beer spray makes the air froth.
All that is needed is for some fair maiden to drop her ribbon on the ice for a champion to pick up and cart into the carnage.

Customer service realization one: the majority of customers that bother the customer service types are humongous goblins, squat little trolls, or oversized rodents repeating some mindless half-fact they partially gleaned from a commercial..
