Russia Triples Price to Fly U.S. Astronauts to Int’l. Space Station

Russia will charge the U.S. National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) $71 million to transport just one American astronaut to the International Space Station (ISS) aboard its Soyuz spacecraft in 2016.

That’s more than triple the $22 million per seat the Russians charged in 2006, according to a July 8 audit report by NASA’s inspector general.

If I were an Astronaut my ‘concern’ would be when they quadruple the price to bring them back.

Buttheads like we have running this Country would just turn their back on them and say “Nobody forced you to go, get home on your own”.

That said, I have a list I would like to see go (damn the cost, full speed ahead) then use the scenario to bring them back. My List STARTS with #1 and includes ALL the successors to the crown should something happen to #1 but would hate to leave people like Hillary and Pelosi behind-here not there.....
