I think, in a nutshell, it was that Savage-Weiner believed the recording of Zimmerman saying, “f’ing punks” was really him saying, “f’ing coons”, and that Zimmerman’s firearm didn’t have a safety (which doesn’t exist on it) engaged, which, to Savage-Weiner, ‘proves’ he intended to gun down Martin.
One reason was because a safety wasn’t on, that is on a gun without a ‘safety.’
Meaning he was talking out his rear but wanted to sound oh so intelligent on the subject. Which he didn’t.
Basically he shouldn’t have had a round chambered, according to Savage. Many New York City people go all squishy talking about guns, they just can’t be rational.
