David Hewlitt would make a great “Neurotic Doctor” Who is on his last regeneration or at least thinks he is and is scared as hell as dying, but can be brave in a pinch.

You can get caught up in a Doctor Who marathon for free here:
http://www.tvmuse.eu/tv-shows/Doctor-Who—2005-_221/

You have to select a channel, close a bunch of ads and sometimes wait for a bit for shows to load but this is how we watch it online. Episodes usually show up the day after airing. I will close a billion ads for that! :0)

Ha! Sounds like our house. The oldest two are on the second or third round now because I finally let them introduce the Doctor to Ella. The little boys come in and out while it’s on but don’t really pay attention yet. I love it because it is such a great reward for completing work! :0)

Frank, my 4-year-old, will turn up banging on the bathroom door yelling, “Elen’s watching Dr. Who again!” Gaaaaah. They’re not supposed to watch anything beyond preschool level when the little boys are around. My goal is for them to get so bored that they’ll actually DO something.

Captain Jack, of Torchwood, turns out to be a raving homo/bi-sexual degenerate.

As, to my knowledge, is the actor who plays him.

He was the cutest thing as Tristan Farnon in “All Creatures Great and Small,” back in the 80s. Robert Hardy, Minister of Magic Cornelius Fudge and a zillion other roles, was his older brother Siegfried. Hardy is almost years old, and is one of the world’s greatest experts on the English longbow.

This has been a batch of absolutely useless information. Sometimes I hate myself for knowing this stuff. Except for the longbow thing.

We’re having to move our classroom out to the apartment above the garage because my kids constantly find new and imaginative ways to get away from their school/chores. If they would just put that imaginative energy towards their work, I’d have brilliant children. Hee hee!

According to the Wikipedia article on him, it’s an herbal curative for various things in his home dimension (?). I think the writer and designer were making a backhanded reference to the leeks in Shakespeare’s “Henry V.”

We’re going to move the computers into the dining room so I can watch everyone, all the time. These kids should all be hackers when they grow up, because no security other than a total power outage can keep them from accessing all their time-wasters.

Problems my parents didn’t have!
