Good article. I’ve been playing around with Rackspace, and have had no problems so far. Seems to me perfect for hosting a web app. What I really love is the noSQL movement. I don’t know how big the performance hit actually is, but for non-speed critical things it is ideal (especially since I use JSON almost exclusively).
Just out of curiosity, what is currently thought of as the best web app server? I use CherryPy, but haven’t really looked into anything for the past couple of years.
