Vitamin D deficiency?
How would they know? Nearly everyone in North America is vitamin D deficient.
Give it three years and a new study will say those nutrients give you cancer
Here’s the thing people don’t realize; magnesium makes 350 other nutrients, aminos, hormones, etc., sync with your system. So...you can appear to be low in potassium, Vit. D, calcium, on and on but you’re really deficient in mag.
Mag binds to 13 substances, some of which are not absorbably, and some of which are. The best forms are glycinate, taureate (sp), malate. Once you get on a good does of the right kind of mag, your mind will be blown on all the weird little things you could be struggling with.
I can spew a list of them but familar things are restless leg, frequent urination, plaque on arteries, asthma, kidney stones, depression, body pain....

There are a few food sources of vitamin D,such as swordfish, salmon, tuna and fortified foods, but this is one case where I would suggest supplementation. It's not likely that you would get enough of the sunshine vitamin from food alone
1 Trazodone
2. Tullamore DEW
3. Trazodone
How can anyone have a vitamin D deficiency? If you drink milk.... oh yeah, Michelle said we shouldn't drink milk, it's white, therefore racist.....
Do you have a good general “rule-of-thumb” amount of magnesium one should take daily? Is it still supposed to be half of the amount of calcium you take? I think the government RDA or RDI is usually pretty low.
Magnesium citrate. What would be a good dosage? Too much would disturb your bowels. But some regularly will kepp from forming calcium oxalate kidney stones, I think.
I don’t know if I am “high protein” but definitely very low carb/keto, where I try to stay under 20g of carbs. I’ve heard some taking ZMA to help with that, I’ve considered it myself but haven’t gotten around to it.
Hard work regulates sleep.
Go outside and get some sun!
Darn right they are scared of overdose. My cousin was recently admitted to the hospital because he was having problems with too much potassium in his system.
The doctor informed him that potassium solutions are one of the elements of lethal injections! Helps stop your heart...
Avocados are a great source too good news for the guacamole lovers!

Ah, contemporary journalism....
Exactly
My doctor had me on 50,000 IU of vitamin D for a while. I take 4,000 IU a day now.
Yes. The RDA is 425 mg/day but you should double that. You need to specifically look at the label so you know how many tabs or capsules equal how much mag. If you buy Metagenics brand mag glycinate, take 6-8/day. This is based on 2 tabs equaling about 200 mg.
Be sure that you gradually up your mag doses as any fast increase can cause diarrhea but ultimately you want to level off at about 800 mg. At least until you build your stores up.
Mag is water soluable so you will absorb very little each time and will pee out the rest but ultimately you will absorb it and it’s stored in your bones teeth and tissues.
Mag will also keep your teeth from falling out. When you are deficient in mag your body pulls it from the stores hence weakening of bones and shrinking of teeth.
