All I did was say I don’t like that model of game, then I pointed out that another poster used language around the game similar to alcoholism (which he agreed with) and he wasn’t the first person I knew who had used that language for that game. There’s no flaws in the reasons OR observation there. Sorry if you don’t like it, but again, YOUR problem not mine. And the fact that you’ve gotten so defensive about this, and tried to weasel into a gun argument, shows I’m right. Now run off to your game, I’m sure there’s another opportunity for you to give the stripper money.

Any human activity can be addictive and most of them cost money. We get defensive because we are tired of snobs insulting an activity they know little or nothing about. Yes it can be addictive. So cal stamp collecting. SO can alcohol but lots of people drink anyway. If you hear some folks talking about their favorite beer and you loudly say ‘booze is a waste of money and destroys lives’ then you wouldn’t be surprised if they get pissed off and defensive. If you then said, ‘HAH! you are defensive so I am right!’ well it would be pretty clear to everyone in the bar that you were a loudmouth troublemaker getting your jollies off of being annoying.
