One of our good friend's daughter called that "Jack in the Crack", and her mom went ballistic. I once had a guitar playing buddy who always called it that. Every time he said it, he'd look at us like he was delivering a punch line. No one ever laughed, but that didn't seem to stop him.
He always was a bit dense.
