I have to say, I’m partial to the Filet-o-Fish sanguich. I have been eating at McDonalds since the early 60’s and, I have visited their establishment in nearly every state of the union. No matter where you go, you know EXACTLY what to expect, and, they deliver.

Further, considering the above, McDonalds’ offerings are, to me, ‘comfort food’. The Big Mac, is a complete meal: meat, vegetable, and starch, though I must confess, I toss the pickle. I don’t know who came up with the pickle as a garnish for meat, but should I ever meet that individual, Stand Your Ground will be invoked...

Ever tried White Castle or a Krystal Burger?

My favorite driving snack used to be a McDonald regular burger and a large McDonald's coffee. Oh yeah!

Next Lent, I hope that Hardee's/Carl Jr has their GRILLED fish sandwich again. Best fish sandwich ever! A bit small, and a bit expensive, but it was really good, and NOT deep fried.
