fWIW I met Ed and Lorraine Warren in the late 80’s as a teen in college and they seemed down to earth and respectable. They gave us a presentation on their paranormal investigations and seemed like good religious people. Never asked for any money so that always makes me believe a persons story more!

The Warrens reputations in the paranormal community is a bit iffy. The biggest hit to their reputation is the Amityville horror case. Members of the family have long since admitted that their story was a hoax, but yet the Warrens persisted in claiming it was genuine.
