What I meant was it came to me by email. I searched and found nothing.
Very touching.
wow, thats a powerful video. tearing up.
Man, I got something in my eye.
Not just Delta...
I highly recommend the movie “Taking Chance” starring Kevin Bacon
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1019454/
from above link:
“Based on real-life events, Lt. Col. Michael Strobl, a volunteer military escort officer, accompanies the body of 19-year-old Marine Chance Phelps back to his hometown of Dubois, Wyoming. “
If you teared up watching this short video, you will cry your eyes out watching this movie.
While I am recommending movies that will make us cry, another one is “Memorial Day” with James Cromwell.
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1694118/plotsummary?ref_=tt_ov_pl
“Memorial Day, 1993. When 13-year-old Kyle Vogel discovers the World War II footlocker belonging to his grandfather, Bud, everyone tells Kyle to put it back. Luckily, he ignores them. Although Bud has never talked about the war, he finds himself striking a deal with his grandson: Kyle can pick any three souvenirs, and Bud will tell him the stories behind each one. Memorial Day not only takes us on a journey into Bud’s complicated wartime past, but also into Kyle’s wartime future. As the two men share parallel experiences in combat, they come to realize how that magical day on the porch shaped both of their lives. ..”
at least, with respect for returning military, we’ve come a long way since Vietnam. No one is spitting on the casket or troops in the airports any more.
As a government, fighting a battle, I regret we’ve regressed back to Vietnam. All politics.
Good morning ladies and gents. Flag-o-Ping.
Wonderful tribute.
Lots of dust blowing around here all of a sudden—can’t see so well..
I’ve said this before here, but after 22 years as a Naval Aviator, and having been around the planet maybe 10 times, these things just leave me a blubbering mess. Thank you for posting it and thanks to the young Sailors, Soldiers, Airmen, and Marines for all they do every day, including giving - all.
Way to go, Delta. Glad it is my airline of choice.
Small wonder I’m a DELTA MAN!!!!GOD Bless Delta Airlines!!
Wow, very touching and impressive.
I always fly Delta, and it’s things like this that are the reason. Good people, good service, and priorities.
