What a MOTHER!
The poor husband living under that shadow for the rest of his life.
.
If my mother walked off a left me without a word, I wouldn’t care if I ever saw or heard from her again!
What the.....??
The entire population of the Yukon is only 33,000. And that’s as high as it’s likely ever been since the Gold Rush.
If you wanted to disappear, wouldn’t you choose New York? Los Angeles? Rio? And why would it take so long to find her?
She a ho?
Whichever one of these stays, since it doubluh postrated, could be an Undead Thread... with permission of course.
The “I’m going for a walk, I’ll be some time” thread...
absolutely sickening. Look what she put her family through!!! Must be a mental case or void of any feelings!!!
Where do journalists and their editors get their educations these days? (is the plural term used typically in Canada?)
The “early 60s”, huh? LOL! A lot of the kids who didn’t want to “reform to their peer group” went “looking” for themselves. She probably didn’t find herself yet or she got lost.
The husband always gets screwed when a selfish woman decides she has had enough. Happened so many times. I think that Scott Peterson is in jail blamed for the death of his wife. This happens practically daily.
> If my mother walked off a left me without a word, I wouldnt care if I ever saw or heard from her again!
I young woman engineer worked for me a few years back.
She admits that she was a bit wild when she was in high school, but to finish the story, she came home from school in her senior year to find that her parents and siblings had moved to another state without telling her. She struggled to graduate HS and then put herself through college, but she finally finished and finally hooked up with her family a year or two after college. I never asked how the reunion went.
I’m not sure if you are being sarcastic or not. Scott Peterson’s wife was actually found dead. Although he maintains his innocence, I think that there is quite a bit of evidence to substantiate his guilt.
That doesn’t sound like 1961 to me
So - she left her kids and she left her husband to be accused until his death? I’d have no words for her.
Cuban Missile Crisis. She wanted to move further away from Havana...
If this was an American newspaper, the headline would read:
Mom Missing for 52 Years Turns up Saturday
