DEARBORN (WWJ) – A 34-year-old man has been arrested in last week’s double murder at a Dearborn dollar store. Lavere Bryant was set to be arraigned at 4 p.m. Wednesday afternoon on murder, armed robbery, and unlawful imprisonment charges.
Joseph Orlando, 22, was found shot to death in the Family Dollar store on Michigan Avenue last Tuesday. Following a two-day search, the body of his co-worker, 20-year-old Brenna Machus, was found in a wooded area just a few miles away.

I got my data from the Census Bureau.
BUT.....
The Census Bureau counts many North Africans, most Turks, and most Middle Easterners as Caucasian.
I know that Detroit is (or used to be) home to the largest group of Palestinian immigrants in the world.
By the way.....
The Census Bureau and the FBI keep two sets of books on Hispanics, too.
They include Hispanics and whites in the same group when it makes whites look bad, like “white” murderers, or when American “white” health statistics are compared to European “white” statistics.
But, Hispanics become “Hispanic” when they are crime victims, or when voter districts are drawn up, or when Affirmative Action job hiring is an issue.

Actually, that is not the case at all. Dearborn is pretty well divided by the Southfield Freeway and one side is nearly 100% Euro American descent and the other is nearly 100% Arabic descent.
The divide is pretty stark and it is almost like 2 seperate cities.....the residents even refer to them as West Dearborn or East Dearborn....
