Best Lukather solo is The Tubes’ ‘Talk to Ya Later.’

I thought the same thing the first time I saw that video.
Think, if Jimi had lived and those two had gotten together.

"Wow! I never realized Prince could play a guitar like ringing a bell! His rifts were super smokin!" I think of Prince in much the same manner as I do Picasso. While I generally don't like his stylistic choices, there's no questioning his technical virtuosity and mastery of his medium.

SO IT TOOK UNTIL 2013 FOR ***RUSH*** TO GET IN?
They’ve only been around for what, 4 decades?
And no BOSTON?

very nice. Have you heard “I dreamed last night” by Hayward?

It was a snorefest until Prince saved it. Tom Petty just drones like a rock zombie.
Prince kicks ass.

Just awesome. Petty, Lynne and Winwood checked their egos at the door and laid the song out beautifully out of respect for their fellow Wilbury, the great George Harrison and his son, Dhani. I never would’ve imagined Prince in this line-up but he was dazzling. Really a fantastic rendition.

I had no idea Prince could play like that, now Im gonna have to check some of his other stuff out to see for myself. Just My Imagination

LOL. Nah, not disappointed. A lot of people do get Teles and Strats confused. And at least you didn't say it was a Les Paul.
And thanks for the ping, great musicians. Too bad Clapton wasn't there since he was the one who played that 'weeping guitar' on the Beatles White Album for his best friend George. But Prince sure did a heck of a fine job coming close to 'the sound'.
an aside: Eric also was peace-maker among the Beatles during that recording -- John was being a major-league Dick. Eric also helped get the final sound, John just wanted it 'over' and Eric said no, its not a 'Beatle Song' yet.

I found it quite a chuckle to have the ^most^ over-rated musician in history (Petty) with the most under-rated (Prince) share the same stage.

Wonder when Prince will do a Super Bowl show?

He showed the world how proud he was of his genitals in 2007.
Lousy show.
To: Cletus.D.Yokel
Oops, forgot about that show.
That’s probably because I didn’t watch it.
