Awesome strength exhibit from all competitors ..... FSE....question !!!

How much has the military adopted officially , or not, crossfit style WOD’s ?

I’ve seen it adopted by small groups of individuals that are active duty yet seen nothing official.

It’s slowly gaining traction in the Army, but it’s really a unit-by-unit kind of thing. My old BDE CDR didn’t like CrossFit and trash-talked it every chance he got (I didn’t even know what it was at the time, so it didn’t matter to me). Conversely, I heard that the 10th MTN CDR was a big CrossFit guy and encouraged his BDEs to adopt it. I remember seeing signs posted in the gym on Kandahar “No weights above waist level” or something like that—again, my pre-CF days, so I thought that was weird. An old NCO I worked with was a Scout PSG off on his own in Afghanistan, so he and his guys did CF every day.

Depends on where you go!
