This is the biggest douche bag in tv history and that is saying a lot.
Not only is he douchey in his dopey empty guitar case, but he also is douchey in the fact that he acts all appalled when people are questioning spending $6,000 on cancer surgery for a cat that (and he is all “Yay, I succeeded in my cat whispery) is supposedly a pet because IT RUNS PAST YOU.
This is my family’s guilty pleasure (and we are a 2 cat family, so no cat haters here) because he is an idiot and an a-hole on top of it.
P.S. His name alone earns him Douchebaggery status. We won’t even go into the facial hair.

Now that I have your attention, CatPersons - please tell your fellow cat lovers that dumping “winter season pet cats”, AKA “Snowbird Stray” in the Everglades should be a flogging offense.
When a cat is dumped in the woods, it usually is soon torn apart and eaten by a larger predator. Even a possum can eat a cat, particularly after poor ‘Fluffums’ has been weakened by a lack of food.
Here in the ‘Glades, even getting a drink of water from a canal, ditch, or pond exposes poor ‘Fluffums’ to “Jaws”, otherwise known as an alligator.
One reason, among many, that I dislike Snowbird CatPersons is they usually are too cheap to euthanize their temporary pets at the vet, or they are too cowardly to do it themselves. Once they dump ‘Fluffums’, they force others to do it when their Lil’ Fluffums, the “Snowbird Stray” takes up residence and kills anything it can manage to catch.
Listen up, CatPersons! Ammo prices are sky high. Stop socializing your pet ownership costs and act like a humane human.

Really like the show. I don’t know much about this Jackson except what he does on the show and its pretty incredible to me. I don’t really care about his personal life and don’t care to know. I mean he isn’t out there doing the things we despise like participating in a sodomy pride parade or advocating for the mass slaughter of the unborn now is he?
For me, it’s a diversion from TV ‘s sorry spectacle of debauchery, deceit and all manner of perversions. Don’t know why I should even have one these days but a show like his show isn’t one of them.
Way too many people here judging a book by its cover.
Jackson may look strange, according to what many consider “normal”, but, he’s actually a good act on TV with those cats and their owners.
It’s not an easy task to figure out why cats behave the way they do, and how the environment and the people around them add to the cats’ “bad behavior”, but at the end of the day (or month), the cat or cats have learned to get along with their owners and other cats and dogs around them. Even if they don’t learn to get along, they do learn to live and let live.
I say all of the above without a inkling of where he stands on the issues and what political ideology he favors, but, as long as he doesn’t get political, I can tolerate him and the cats and the people on the shows.
My girl cat loves this show - seriously. She sits on the coffee table and pays close attention to the screen. Don’t know if she is taking notes or feeling superior. I’ve noticed that the solution to most of his clients’ problems is BUY THE KITTY SOME FREAKING TOYS TO PLAY WITH! But then it is the LA area...the stupid runs extra deep there.
Thanks for posting this; I’m a Jackson Galaxy fan myself. He seems to be such a kind man. In one episode of MCFH, he helped an elderly woman with her cat....he was very gentle with the lady, and extremely respectful.
I imagine he uses the Galaxy name because he’s a part-time rock musician. I never heard anyone call Sting, Slash, or Axl Rose “douchebags” because they use stage names.
And hey, I had the “cat blink” perfected years ago, before I heard of Jackson! ;)
Jackson is into new age philosophy but he definitely understands cats and their behavior. If you discard the occasional talk about “energy” the rest of his advice is very practical...
This true,...so many idiots I’ve known who hate cats simply because they aren’t dogs. Who says that the 2 legged species is superior?

I won’t be watching it much more, because of the blatant promotion of homos.
So far I’ve seen female homos. The first was absolutely disgusting, young women who decided to live in and now are so happy to be engaged! Pictures of their engagement, and at the end of them kissing. Now I see older women shacking up and worrying about their cats and how their “partner” is treating the other.
Never mind all the shack-ups of the other kind.
Or his outlandish style. I could get beyond that if he’d stop promoting various “alternatives.
I love his Lincoln, though.
