We love him too, TO MOCK!

This is the biggest douche bag in tv history and that is saying a lot.

Not only is he douchey in his dopey empty guitar case, but he also is douchey in the fact that he acts all appalled when people are questioning spending $6,000 on cancer surgery for a cat that (and he is all “Yay, I succeeded in my cat whispery) is supposedly a pet because IT RUNS PAST YOU.

This is my family’s guilty pleasure (and we are a 2 cat family, so no cat haters here) because he is an idiot and an a-hole on top of it.

“This is the biggest douche bag in tv history and that is saying a lot.”

That is a major achievement in a world where Guy Fieri exists.

Never watched it, but after looking at his picture, I'm inclined to side with you. Although I know I shouldn't without ever having seen the show. But still. . . .

Every time I think this forum is made up of good, kind people, someone like you posts and smashes my image of FR. You belong on a forum like DU. Someone who posts such hate, deception and mockery on a man like this is eye opening. I hope the hate mongering and bitterness in your life decreases for you. Maybe start reading the Bible instead of having your family sit in front of a tv show to mock. Not good to raise your kids teaching them to mock, bully or make fun of a good hearted man.

I have actually learned a lot about my four cats from watching this show.

His tips have helped our household run much more smoothly with fewer cat fights due to him.

different strokes for different folks, I guess.

The only people who evoke that sort of feeling in me are Obozo, Soros, Holder, Van Jones, Piers Morgan, etc. etc.

I cannot comment on that particular episode and sometimes Jackson is devious in a funny way....but have to concur as it is presented here that it certainly can be pathetic and morally depraved to $6,000 on expensive treatments for your pet. What happens when your spouse gets sick? One of your kids? That’s $6,000 that you don’t have. You’re helping the animal and abusing yourselves. Of course it is easier for someone without children to contend that people should treat their animals like kids or that cats’ lives mean as much to them as mine means to me but I have never heard him recommend stuff that clients obviously can’t afford. And his soon to be wife does a lot of animal rescue work in underserved or deprived areas of Los Angeles, and the world, so hopefully some of that mentality will rub off on the master himself. :)

(From the posted interview:)

Are you still friends with any of the people who owned cats on the show?

Galaxy: Every single one of these people I still consider one of my clients. So if anything ever flies backwards, then we’re on the phone. I never want these guys to think that they’re just a subject of a TV show. I want them to know that this is what we would do in real life. I’m still there for them.

If I were in the business of trying to pet strange cats, particularly those known to have bad temperaments, I would probably want to wear long sleeves in a thick, claw resistant fabric
