Today's feature is my favorite Alfred Hitchcock-directed suspense thriller from the 1940s. Excellently co-scripted by legendary American playwright Thornton Wilder while Joseph Cotten may be the best Hitchcock villain of them all. Sweet little Teresa Wright experiences more than she bargained for when her favorite Uncle Charlie comes to her little town. A cinematic masterpiece.

Hume Cronyn! When he met the woman who would become his long-time love and wife at a party, (Jessica Tandy) he offered her a bowl of cashews and said, “I wish they were Emeralds.”

*SIGH* I got me a GREAT fella - but not one like THAT, LOL!
