CLINTON: That tape is missing from the White House vault where it was stored.
COLUMBO: Then how about the videotape from the vault surveillance camera? Maybe we can find out who removed the parking lot video from the vault.
CLINTON: The vault video is missing too. Perhaps the parking lot camera never caught Foster entering his car?
COLUMBO: At the most guarded building in the world? Not likely. As a matter of fact Im sure that cameras are watching me right now and that Secret Service guards should be apprehending me at any moment.
Brilliant post, especially this part of the dialogue, which raises a very important issue in the case.
No one has ever produced any evidence of Foster's car ever being in its usual assigned spot in the White House (nor anywhere else in the lot or on the WH campus) on the day of his death. Neither is there any video surveillance film to verify this nor is there any log of vehicles entering and leaving. We do know, however, by many eyewitness accounts, that Foster was physically present at the WH that morning. (So he deviated sharply from his usual morning commuting routine.)
From this, several vital conclusions can be drawn:
(1)Foster could not have driven from the White House to Fort Marcy Park in his car, contrary to what is alleged in the official government reports.
(2)Other people, either family members or "friends" or outside criminal conspirators, had access to his car from early morning until the car was found in the Ft. Marcy Park lot shortly after 6 PM that evening.
The 5 witnesses in Fort Marcy Park told the FBI that the Honda Accord (Vince Foster's Car) that they saw was a different color than Vince's Honda. When all five witness's obtain a copy of they FBI interviews under the FIA found later their statements were changed. This is from Patrick Knowlton(the first witness to see the Honda) to me in Fort Marcy Park during a Saturday tour of what happened that day.
