About 10,000 years ago, Comet ISON left our solar system's distant shell, a region known as the Oort cloud...

Allegedly...

'Comet of the century'

LOL! It's kind of early in the century.

Well, give or take a day or two.

You know of course that these dates are only rough estimates.

We have a precise orbit for ISON; and from that orbit we have a very good idea of where it came from and when it did.

The idea that science can say absolutely nothing about the past because something wasn’t witnessed is beyond silly.

We can ask Helen Thomas to confirm that. She was about 23 years old back then.

"Helen, communism totally rules doesn't it?"

"You said it Kenyan boy!"

Speaking of comets of the century... what follows is nothing more than a shameless pimping of a book I wrote. It is available at Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and Smashwords. It begins when a giant meteor strikes the moon. Again, shameless pimping...apologies:

“...when the comet runs” . . . The Seer Naustradamus foretold of the great war that would follow the appearance of the great comet. And as war reigns in Syria, Damascus shall cease to exist - and the great war shall begin...

oh woo is he who shall stand beneath the comet’s shadow on that horrible day. For then shall end the dominance of man and begin the second rule of demons. Fortunately, that will not last long.

Comets are said to portend significant events for humanity.

What does this one supposedly bring?

Notice the matter-of-fact way they state that the comet came from the Oort cloud,

which is a HYPOTHETICAL “rescuing device” to explain the existence of short period comets in an “old” solar system.

Never been seen or measured, but it HAS to be there, given the assumption of billions of years.

Hopefully it’s Obama’s band wagon, and all his followers will jump on and leave earth.

"our star's radiation will start taking its toll on the comet, driving off more of its water "

Should we be expecting rain?
