I have friend who grew up with a step dad. 30 years or something like that. It was the only father she ever knew. She felt they had a fairly close relationship. He split with the mom for a childhood sweetheart. My friend never heard from the guy again.

"Blended" families are the new desired norm. Except when they split up and you never hear from them again and you realize they were never family. But, why let reality interject with the left's mission to destroy the natural family?

chris - have to disagree. She may be the mayor of Whack-a-Doodle Junction, but she is easily one of the most beautiful women I’ve ever seen. I find her to be absolutely captivating. She could talk a minister into kicking in a stain glassed window.

That story is just sad - even though not biologically related, if that guy was a stepfather for 30 years and then just disappeared it is really sad.... but mccarthy was acting like douchy carey was the dad and I felt like she was just wanting to hurt him in the media (as if he couldn’t do that all by himself) and it really had nothing to do with her son.
