Watching Fox News Channel coverage of Zimmerman trial. Judge has just sprung another surprise against Zimmerman, saying jury can consider Martin's death as child abuse so jury can convict based upon that, too, and perhaps convict him of voluntary manslaughter. This trial is a travesty.

"Zimmerman never got a chance to defend himself against this new accusation. How can this be constitutional?"
Excellent point - the defense was fighting a specific charge, so how can you - at the end of the trial - allow him being convicted of something for which his defense had no chance to fight?

I understand Zimmerman can be convicted of aggravated parking zone violations too!
What a joke. Why not just an ‘A La Carte’ type menu for the jury to deicde.

I didn't expect the judge to pull this out of his pouch at the last minute. (Yes, I know only female kangaroos have pouches. Live with it.) Uh, the judge is a woman...

Appointed by Republican Governor Jeb Bush. Imagine if he were President and appointing federal judges.

Debra Steinberg Nelson is an idiot any way you look at it. This case should have been thrown out due to lack of substantial evidence after the first week. Judge Debra Steinberg Nelson has been completely biased for the prosecution the entire time.
If there is anything other than an acquittal in this trial, it will just be another example of the idiocy of the American jurors: e.g.: O.J. Simpson, Casey Anthony, Robert Blake, Kobe Bryant... and on and on.
