Zimmerman will be acquitted. Judge Nelson's attempt to force him to testify tells us so.

Her asking George if he wanted to testify was beyond unusual. It was tantamount to jury tampering.

Was the jury present when she questioned the defendant?

Well, yeah. The jury would have to be there for her to attempt jury tampering. Don West objected twice and she overruled him.

My point is simply that this is a political case and that I think the all-girl jury will decide it politically. If I wrong - Mazel Tov!

Supposedly they’re sequestered and out of touch, and each was acceptable because they were low info no-nothings to begin with.

Was the jury there to see Zimmerman being unlawfully badgered by this black robbed bozo?

Reversible error if the jury was present...easy case for this

There was some confusion on that. It was more reliably reported the jury was out. It’s still problematic, though, because the Defense was still presenting its case when “judge” Loony demanded this answer from George.

The judge appeared to have been told to demand an answer out of normal sequence ... her phone records would confirm an unJustice call or perhaps a visit to her chambers during the break which preceded the first demand. IIRC, the jury was still sitting during the first demand but out during the second more confrontational demand. But both were out of normal sequence.

Thanks...she is an idiot but it could be she was just trying to move the trial along and get it over and done, so she was trying to figure how many days to add if Zimmy took the stand. Zimmy could have added 3-5 days. Judge Loooney getting flustered and agitated because she is unable to relax until this trial is over. I’ll bet the court has a vacation scheduled for her right after it

“It was tantamount to jury tampering. “

The jury was not present..... so her badgering Zimmerman about him taking the stand was not potential jury tampering

The jury was not present. That would be an automatic mistrial.
