She’s skeptical and sees it as doomsaying, thinks it will never come to that. It was difficult to point out that was a naive perspective, that the gay lobby has an agenda and that they are not reasonable people. She kept chirping separation of church and state. Now this is a faithful Catholic, a physician and extremely bright. She’s not your run of the mill ignoramus, uninformed voter. She thinks churches will not be forced to perform marriages.
