I read all he wrote and he was so wrong about the handgun, I wouldn't believe him about anything. He had done no checking to know what that weapon was. I hope he doesn't have a handgun himself because he is too dumb on the subject to have one.

That handgun operates like my Ruger 38 special - the hammer is enclosed in the weapon and there is no outside safety. It's a double action which means the trigger has to go through two actions before the weapon fires. His handgun also was double action. It was a 9 mm, but still double action.

Single or Double action.

Are we supposed to keep the first chamber in the cylinder empty ?
