Park workers say the bottoms showed too much
Madelyn Sheaffer had just lost more than 100 pounds and was proud to wear a bikini to a water park with her family and friends.
That day turned into an embarrassment when two young girls told her the bathing suit she was wearing wasn’t covering enough.
She asked to talk to a manager who told her to either cover up or leave. Sheaffer told 41 Action News “I felt like it was both age and body discrimination and I felt like I could look around me and I could see a handful of other girls half my age, wearing the same size swimming suit and not being singled out and told to put on clothes or leave.”
Sheaffer told the manager she wanted to talk to police to file a complaint but that backfired.
When cops arrived, they escorted Sheaffer from the park. Madelyn claims the officers were on her side but told her they “had to do their job.”

Although it was a little too revealing for a family place, and bad on her for wearing it, but really? What is with Americans being prudes. Sheesh, half of Europe runs around in the nude on their beaches and no one is worse off for it. Guess what? We have bodies under our clothes.
I was at the beach at south Walton county Florida last year

My wife has worn one at south beach ...without our kids....I lived in Brazil....I’m thong tolerant as is most of Florida
But south Walton has an ordinance..... I felt sorry for the girl when beach patrol came by and ticketed her
She simply did not know better.....and was shamed and boo hooed at bit
They were discreet under an umbrella
My wife....in two piece.....and I went over and tried
To make them feel more comfortable and welcome
We ended up getting to know them....he was a doc and she a mom...their kids were at their beach house rental with her mom
I don’t blame folks for local custom and the cop came back by and took the ticket back....he told me he rarely writes them
Now in neighboring spring break Bay county it would be impossible to enforce such a thing
Once at Key Biscayne the hotel pool folks told my wife if pregnant she had to wear one piece...the old intercontinental.....we didn’t make a scene....just walked out to beach

That being said, I’ve seen women much bigger than her wearing skimpy bikinis. They either think they look good or just don't care.
Oh, we women, myself included can be so catty and judgmental...
Is silicone lighter than water? If so she’d bob like a cork.
There are two ways to look at this, maybe it was really a standard bikini.
.....and its OK for same sex couples to put tongues down each others throats in that same park,I am sure.

I too make it a pont to meet and greet girls wearing butt floss every chance I get.
