take the family, get the bluray or DVD....you’ll be gald you did
The character arc of Oscar Diggs (a.k.a. The Wizard) left me unsatisfied. It appeared that he turned at least one woman to evil by seducing and abandoning her — what kind of hero is that? Did his saving Oz (for the time being) from the two evil witches (both of whom he seduced and abandoned) redeem him?
All that aside, I enjoyed the movie.
Twoo is my favorite all time
Kids gave me special 50 year annv DVD
I enjoyed this movie very much
Disney tied a lot in from the original
Had the tone of original
He was a rake but redeemed himself
We loved it! Need to get it to keep! Is it out yet?
That’s the spirit! Call a spade a spade!
I put it on our netflix list...thank you in advance as you won’t hear from me if I liked it. :{)
My kids and I thought it was a total dog.
I appreciate your input and have adjusted accordingly. He caught me in a weak moment. :{)
thx for the tip, Wizard.
And the witches were clearly hoes
Ping
that does not sound fam friendly
if you like this kind of film, you will like this one....I got it after seeing some clips of the CGI animation, but never expected to actually like it.....now I will buy it so I can watch it when I want to......very nice film..
The seduction is strongly implied but not explicit.
(IE a scene in Snow White had the Queen telling one of her henchmen to bring back her heart in a box, and had the queen walking past the skeleton of a man jailed reaching for water...Disney always played to more than one level)
Our tastes are eclectic. We’ll give it a look.
Oz, the Great and Powerful was an enjoyable movie, but it doesn’t compare to the original Wizard of Oz. And the lead does some morally questionable things.
What exactly does that mean?
